LOUISE TARGETT, Managing Director & TrainerLOUISE TARGETT, Managing Director & Trainer
Louise Targett is known for turning ordinary businesses into something great.

Since 1988, Louise has worked with over 3000 businesses including many from the top 150 Australian Companies. Her work is varied and includes the design, customisation and delivery of business management and people management modules, competency-based alignment and nationally recognised qualifications.

Her focus is in tracking KPIs via measurable standards and strategies in sales and service, visual merchandising, store branding/identity and marketing, product width and depth, business planning and people management issues.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Target Training has national accreditation with the Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board, offering a combination of nationally recognised and customised business development programs. Louise has created a system of “easy learning” which produces the education, strategies, and momentum for measurable and lasting business development, growth and change.

Louise has worked with companies like Caltex Australia, Sigma/Amcal Pharmacies, Mirvac, Rezmed, Coles Myer and Queensland Investment Corporation. As the author of many retail and frontline management publications and an award-winning speaker, Louise is regularly invited by multi-national companies to address business development and marketing issues. She has been keynote speaker on many occasions for retail group annual conferences and chamber of commerce forums.

Louise holds a Master of Education, a Graduate Certificate in SC Marketing, Diploma in Frontline Management, Diploma in Retail Management, Diploma in Training & Assessment Systems and Diploma in Strategic Management.

Kathryn Holder, Administration Co-ordinatorKathryn Holder, Administration Co-ordinator
Kathryn is a highly efficient administrator with 7 years experience in a busy education environment. Her past work dealing with quality assurance and accreditations has complimented Kathryn’s current role with Target Training.

Kathryn predominantly manages our day-to-day calendar of training dates meaning she is in contact with employers, their staff and our trainers to ensure we meet delivery expectations. Kathryn also completely co-ordinates training resources for our trainers. Her specialist responsibility is handling the student assignments submitted, via quality control procedures. If there is anything missing, Kathryn will be in touch with you!

Kathryn has a Senior First Aid Certificate and part completion of a Diploma Children’s Services while she completes a Certificate IV Business.



Samantha (Sam) Nagle, Administration Assistant
Sam has recently joined Target Training as our part-time Administration Assistant. Whilst working with us she is also pursuing a Diploma in Graphic Design. She holds a Certificate III in Retail Services as well. Sam is keen to make an impact on our busy office and assist clients and students in whatever way she can. Her key roles in this regard will be handling student enrolments across Australia, resource ordering, student monitoring and the Target Training newsletter.

Jennifer Hindmarsh, Training Administrator
Jennifer has 18 years experience in administration and project management. Her experience includes four years in an administration and financial management role with the United Nations Peace-keeping division in New York.

Jennifer has worked for other companies too, such as Australian Water Technologies and Granny Smith Natural Food Market. She has carried out specialist projects in the areas of knowledge management, financial co-ordination, customer communication initiatives and general secretarial support.

Jennifer’s key responsibilities with Target Training are to maintain confidential student records, quality check training and assessment resources, and issue the completed certification.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts with a sub-major in Office Administration and is currently completing a degree in Accounting.

ROBYN LEAHY, Program FacilitatorROBYN LEAHY, Program Facilitator
Robyn has held numerous roles in the retail and IT industries, including hands on in her own business providing specialised retail sales for the major IT companies in Australia and New Zealand. This included product launches and demonstrations in major retail chains including Harvey Norman, Kmart, Target, Big W, David Jones, Myer and Officeworks. She also provided retail staff training in product and sales, introducing cross selling and up-selling skills to maximise the success of each and every major product launch.

For the past six years, Robyn has focused her time in the training industry and specifically around retail courses, business administration, sales and marketing and people development.

Robyn has a Bachelor of Adult Education, Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAA), Certificate IV in Retail Management, Certificate IV in Business (Administration) and Certificate III in Sales and Marketing.




VICTORIA HOWARD, Prgram FacilitatorVICTORIA HOWARD, Program Facilitator
Victoria has been a hands-on trainer for the past 18 years. After winning numerous awards for retail sales with Clinique cosmetics she moved into the training arena and has held roles from NSW Training Manager to Area Manager and Territory Trainer for companies such as Pharm-A-Care, Lancome, Sanctum, Jurlique and Nutrimetics.

For the past 3 years Victoria has specifically trained Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate IV in Business and various beauty industry courses.

Victoria has achieved her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104), Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management), Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate in Small Business Management and various beauty industry qualifications.

Victoria is based in Sydney.

CHERYL HENDERSON, Program FacilitatorCHERYL HENDERSON , Program Facilitator
Cheryl is a highly experienced trainer and business management professional who is able to deliver training and coaching solutions specifically in the retail industry.

Cheryl has held numerous roles from Credit Controller to Sales Director within organisations such as Nutrimetics and Ingram Micro. Cheryl has been working with Target Training since 2007 with a focus on retail frontline management training for retail teams.

She has achieved a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Life Coaching and Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management).

Cheryl is based on the mid-north coast of NSW.

 

MATTHEW SPOKES , Program Facilitator
Matthew is a down-to-earth, practical and very likable program facilitator. He is both well studied and experienced who gives 100% commitment every time.

Over the past six years Matt has established and operated training organisations including staff employment, coaching / mentoring and trainer / assessor responsibilities. Matt can align himself with any organisation while his strength lies within people relations and communication skills.

He has achieved a Diploma of Training and Assessment, Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) and a Craftsman's Certificate in Carpentry.

Matt is based in Sydney, NSW.

 

GARY TREMOLADA, Program Facilitator
Gary commenced his retail career working for Venture stores back in the eighties when his focus was on small format store manager and floor manager responsibilities. As a result his strength as a hands-on manager was developed from the outset.

Some years later Gary moved into training and staff development roles within commercial environments such as the Australian Taxation Office, Telstra and Teletech International.

His real passion lies in the area of driving the KPI's of the business via sales training and setting of targets. Gary believes that a better, stronger, faster environment breeds innovation and therefore impacts on both the organisation's bottom line and the individual's performance goals.

Gary has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Frontline Management, Certificate III in Retail, Certificate III in Hospitality and currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce.

DAVID BOOTH , Program Facilitator
David travels NSW and ACT as a regional trainer. Commencing his career with Telecom in 1975, David's managerial and customer service experience is second to none. For seven years David operated his own newsagency business and also held president and treasurer positions with his local Chamber of Commerce.

David commenced his career in training / assessing in 2003 with TAFE and now works for both the public and private education sectors. His experience spans from Frontline Management to Retail to Administration and general Business areas.

David has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate IV in OHS and and Advanced Certificate in Management.

David is based in Cowra, NSW.

ADAM NICHOLSON, Program FacilitatorADAM NICHOLSON, Program Facilitator
Adam has had approximately 8 years experience as a trainer in Australia and overseas. He has conducted training in various disciplines including First Aid, English, Retail, Hospitality, Small Business Management and Frontline Management.

Adam could be described as a fun, vibrant, and energetic making him especially suitable to young students or those requiring encouragement and guidance.

Adam has a Bachelor of Business, Certificate IV in Retail Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management).

 

 

NICK MILLS, Program FacilitatorNICK MILLS , Program Facilitator
Nick Mills is a dynamic learning development professional with many years experience in doing so. His specialist area is leadership experience at an operational level as he continually strives to help others be their best. Nick is a performance coach and sales training specialist.

Nick has worked with companies such as Avis / Budget and Thrifty car rentals, Hutchison Telecoms and Flexirent Capital. Nick has had first hand experience at driving e-learning projects for companies such as Harvey Norman.

Nick has a Master of Education, Diploma of Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

 

 

VENISE DAMASKOS, Program FacilitatorVENISE DAMASKOS, Program Facilitator
Venise has worked in the retail industry for the last 22 years. Starting her career at Grace Bros and working for other organisations such as Norman Ross, ANZ Bank and World 4 Kids in sales, buying and customer service roles.

Venise commenced her training career in 2000 and now trains, assesses, develops programs and co-ordinates courses for both learners and their employers. Venise is also an experienced online educator in retail and office administration units.

Venise has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Business Administration and has delivered up to Certificate III in Retail.

Venise is based in the south of Sydney.

 


SUSANNE ALEXANDER, Program FacilitatorSUSANNE ALEXANDER – Program Facilitator

Susanne is a results driven, self motivated professional with extensive experience across all areas of General Management, Sales/Marketing and Training. She is an exceptional leader and coach, who is able to develop and motivate others to achieve targets and self development.

Susanne has worked in the VET sector with training of retail and business employees under various competency based qualifications up to Advanced Diploma level. She is a hands on trainer/assessor for companies such as Wok in a Box and Blackwoods.

Susanne has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Retail Management and Diploma of Management.

Susanne is based in Perth, Western Australia.

Colleen DyerCOLLEEN DYER

Colleen’s experience lies in conducting training and motivational customer service programs for staff and management teams. Not only well qualified as a trainer but Colleen has the hands-on retail management experience to ensure her knowledge is thorough and practical. She has 35+ years in fashion retail with organisations such as Stiletto Fashion Group and Cassells Fashion where she has led teams in management, training, coaching , and mentoring of staff for desired business KPI's.

Currently Colleen primarily trains in the retail area achieving consistently high attendance and pass rates (averaging 97%) for her training groups which is achieved through her passion for motivating teams by assessing and training to their individual needs for realisation of their full potential within the group.

Colleen has achieved her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) and Diploma of Retail Management. She is actively maintaining her studies by completing her Diploma of Business.

Colleen is based in south-east Queensland.

Sam DonatoSAM DONATO

Sam developed his extensive retail management background with more than 10 years experience in the Myers group. During this time he managed all areas of company stores and achieved skilled knowledge in merchandising and promotions, customer service standards, negotiating, policy and statutory requirements and strategic and budgetary management. Currently, Sam has taken the knowledge learned at the retail face and developed his skills as a trainer. He has worked for Target Training for more than 3 years. Importantly, he has become and highly skilled communicator and motivator and is a very successful trainer.

Currently Sam holds qualifications for Certificate IV in TAA, Certificate IV in AWT, Certificate IV in Frontline Management and a Diploma of Management.

Sam is based in Adelaide.




Julie PetersJulie Peters

Julie Peters has had a firm background in human resources management and training going back more than 15 years. After developing skills in financial services and human resources with such organisations as the State Bank of NSW and Colonial State Bank, Julie has concentrated her time on training others. Along with actual retail experience her training experience is extensive including working with TAFE NSW and training students from NRMA and AXA. Her excellent communication skills, diverse qualifications and proven background in training are elements that make an exceptional trainer.

Currently Julie is working as a trainer in the area of Financial Services. Her qualifications include Certificate IV in TAE, Diploma in Retail Management, Certificate IV in Financial Services and a Diploma in Personnel Management

Julie is based in southern Sydney.
